Continous Form constantly moving when loading

I have a continious form which keeps automatically scrolling down when
it is loaded. This form's control source is a query that has 2 fields
and each is derived from a DSum function

How can I stop this scrolling and just have the data fill into this form
either instantly or atleast gradually fills in but not have atleast 6 to
7 times keeps filling in. This looks very poor to the user.

Appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction

Regards
Ed

Could you describe scrolling? Let's say you have 200 records. Does it
start at record 1 when the form is opened and then by scrolling it
displays the last few records?

Let's say you have 20 records per viewable screen. When it loads, it
prints/presents a record to the screen so it looks like it ripples?
Like prints each field but enough of a pause between each field the
effect of presenting the records is not instantaneous? That's normal in
calced fields. Open up a query sometime with a calced field. It does
the same thing. The longer a field takes to calc, the more rippling
effect. Now if it ripples several times, it can be caused by multiple
calls of an action in the Activate and Current and Open and Load events.

You could try this. Create another query, make it a TOTALS query, that
contains 3 fields; ID and your two fields that you are summing and group
on ID, sum on the other 2 fields. Now link this to the query used in
the recordsource.

I've built a continous form to show all the records. I now want to add a check box beside each record, so that I can check specific...

I have a form that takes some time to load because it has to populate some Data. I was trying to display a form on top of it with an activity bar so that user can see that something's going on. I have tried doing this and using a progress bar that counts up to 100 and then zeros down so that it should be constantly moving while the main or background windows finishes loading. The problem is that the "in progress window" doesn't display...

I have a button on a form. I've changed its text to "Exitl". However, when I run the app, the button text is "Exit". How could that happen? It's the only form in this app. I also have the timer on this form set for 2 second intervals. However, the timer constantly fires. I use to have it set at .2 seconds. Seems the old form is loading at run time. Thanks, Brett

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
