How do you force a re-converting from A97 to A2002

I have an app written in A97. I also have sporatic users upgrading to
A2002 as they get XP on the machines.

So they need to open my A97 app. To do so, of course, I open the MDB
exclusively to allow it to "convert" which actually seems like just a
syntax check since it stays in A97 format.

Here is the question: If I make a change to a form or report, what is
best way to get the A2002 environment to re-convert ... forcing it to
do so?
I have experienced making a change to a form and it working as
intended under the A97 runtime (the change works).
However, opening up in A2002 is successful, but the old version of the
form appears and runs old code.

Sometimes I jiggled it by doing a Compile and Save all modules or
doing a compact. Something there would cause it to re-convert. But
not lately. Is there a hidden version for the A2002 to run instead of
the A97 component?

Any info is appreciated.

I use one of two approaches. Inside A2002 I do Tools >> Database Utilities >>
Convert Database and create a completly new FE.

Or TSI Conversion

FWIW you can visit Access 2.0 and Access 97 to Access 2000/2002 conversion problems

any problems.
