Hello
I am trying to create a table, which includes a field type LONG. The
wizard hasn't allowed me to enter storage settings for this table. It
set the initial size is 64K and not available to change, next size 0K,
increase size by 0%.
Since I am going to copy data from an existing MS Access table into
this one, I know that the initial amount of records will be about

Hello
I am going to copy a data from MS Access table into Oracle table. One
of fields is memo type and data in this field range from 1 character
to 551 long string. Do I need to create a field type LONG in the
Oracle table to accommodate this data? If not, what field type would
suit best?

I need to bring the ssn's into UniqueSups (supervisors) from
tblNonNormalized. My inherited DB is not normalized and I find it
extremely irritating due to the workarounds needed.

Hi and thanks to pragatiswain for reply.
i tell u about tables in the database.
TABLE NAMES are "SUB_HEAD","CATEGORY","COMPANY","BILL","BILL_DETAIL.
I've a master detail relationship b/w BILL and BILL_DETAIL FORM.
Master table is "BILL" and Child table is "BILL_DETAIL".
and also CATEGORIES and COMANY tables values are dependent on "BILL and BILL_DETAIL" table.

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
