Hello,
I have searched through dozens of old responses to this question
but have been unable to make it work in my situation. I'm using
Access 2000
We have a very old sticker printer on a serial line. Neither
situation is going to be upgraded so don't suggest that. A simple
sticker report takes 10 seconds to reach the printer. That is not an
issue for me. But, if I want 5 copies of the same sticker, most
methods I have tried...

Hello,
I'm fairly new to MSAccess, and have developed a little program for
invoices. I have the form all working, as well as the Report which is
the printed invoice. On the report, I have an imbedded form made up
from the orders table. The embedded form is connected by Master and
Child link by the Invoice number. This all works fine as long as I
have several items in the order. If I have only ONE or TWO items in
there, apparently my...

I have a report printing form (Access 97) in which I print different
reports from. I have added a combo box that selects the number of
copies that I want to print. Here is the rub... The following is the
syntax that I use. The only problem is that I have the Database
window hidden at all times and when I hit the print command button the
report prints but the Database window becomes visible.
DoCmd.SelectObject acReport,...

After hours of trying I got it to print and print preview the richtextbox. I've been trying to figure out how to print multiple pages. If the richtextbox contains more than 1 page of data, than it just prints the 1st page and everything else just gets cutoff. If anyone can help me with C++ code, I would really appreciate it. I've looked at a lot of forums before posting this and most of the examples are in C# or VB. I'm thinking the problem lies...

I'm having a nightmare trying to use a form as the basis of capturing the number of copies that a user requires of a report to be printed. I originally used the input box as a solution, but wanted something more elegent by using a txt control on a form instead.
The input box code is like this:
' Accepts user input in order that the number of copies required for an exam may be input

Hi,
Is there a way to make a report print out more than once using the VBA
code behind a button, without having to put the code in multiple
times?
I want to print out the same report four times, with page 1 of 4
through to 4 of 4 in the footer.
Can anyone help?

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
