I am trying to get a record count of a PHP query on a MS Acess database
using ODBC with a DSN for MS ACCESS connection. I got this code from the
PHP manual user notes. It seems to return the correct recount if the count
is greater than 0. It the count is 0 it returns the value of the $transid
variable in the code. Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong? I need
something that returns 0 if not records are found and an accurate count...

ranges. The data is split between two different databases: this access

So I've got an old MS Works database I imported into Access. I needed
a primary key so I created a record number field that was just the
record number I manually inserted when I entered it in the database so
I could sort the records by the date at which they were entered.

I have a stored procedure that has to extract the child records for
particular parent records.
The issue is that in some cases I do not want to extract all the child
records only a certain number of them.
Firstly I identify all the parent records that have the requird number
of child records and insert them into the result table.

Sorry to repost, but am having another look at deleting a record.
I have a form (Member) and have removed all the event procedures associated
with the Form (OnCurrent, OnDelete, OnActivate etc)
When I click on the record bar and press delete it comes up with the correct
message "You are about to delete 1 record ....", the record count drops by 1
and I say "Yes - delete it". Seems OK, record is no longer there.
Than after closing the form...
