Hello,
I have posted a similar message in SciPy mailing list. I hope it is ok
to also post it here.
I am looking for Python 2.4 Binaries (Windows)of SciPy. Are there any
plans to upload Python 2.4 binaries?
Best Regards,
/Srijit

I have a windows based job logging application. The database for this sits
on a central server. There are probably about 50-100 users, distributed
across our network but at various sites. When I build my application in
visual studio in Release mode, I get an executable. How do I distribute
this? Do I create an instal package, then run this on every machine in the
company that wants to run the app? Or can I install the executable onto...

Hi: I've just developped a really simple MS Access App. The VBA runs
within the database. It uses some DLLs which I register with a script.
It's on MS Access2003 (Office11). I've got 2003Pro but could get Ent.
Never having done this before, I'm not sure what I need to do in order to be
able to distribute it. I'd like not to require other users to have Access
installed (let alone 2003). For starters, I'm just looking to be able...

I recently upgraded an ASP.Net 1.1 app to .Net 2.0 and am now struggling
with the different binary system used. Previously a binary was created in
the bin subfolder of my ASP.Net app. I could add that binary to my
installer. With ASP.Net 2.0 there are no binaries generated in the bin
subfolder. It appears they reside in a temporary location.
How do I reference these binaries for includion in my installer? Is there a
new step I need...

I'm trying to find Windows binaries for lxml. The cheeseshop is supposed
to have such binaries, but I can't find them.
Does anyone know where I might find such binaries?
Thanks,

I would like to add my binaries from the Release directory of several
projects to source safe. My hope is that I can get latest, build the
project, and then check-in so that the binaries are updated in source
safe, and then can be used by others who are creating installers from
those release binaries.
I can add the files directly through the source safe client, but I
prefer to use the VSS features through the VS IDE.
If I add the...

A user reports problems with one of our extensions when running the
intel compiled extension on ppc and vice versa. He is building the
extension as a universal binary. Although the intel compiled version
runs fine it displays a known bug when run on a ppc.
It appears we have an endianness dependency which is statically compiled
into the binaries.
One proposed fix is to make the endian variable code dynamically change
at run time. ...

I have an asp.net 2.0 website with vb.net classes. I can run that
website with no problems from vs.net and from an iis 6.0 server. I
deploy using a standard copying of files.
I noticed a similar website i did not develop has a /bin folder with
binaries.
I presume the developer compiled the site to binary at some point to
deploy only binaries. What other steps/happenings would cause the
creation of a /bin folder with binaries?

Hi,
I have to homologate my binaries so I need them to be byte-per-byte
identical after each compilation (if the source code is the same,
logically). Does anybody know how to achieve that with either compiler
options or modifying some parts of the binaries?
After some research I've succesfully patched:
- timestamp: in 0x88 address, I have set to zero.
- GUID after <PrivateImplementationDetails>: find this text in file
and set GUID to...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
