This one really has me going. Probably something silly. I'm using
dcount for a report to determine the number of different types of
tests proctored in a semester.
My report is based on a parameter query which is the recordsource for
the report. The parameter is <=. The query returns the
correct amounts upto the date entered (no need for...

Hi Guys: I was stuck. I needed to send a report to a file. My
beautiful report(s) in Access were going to require loss of formatting
with RTFs, a PITA in WordMailMerge, sending it as a text file...whatever.
I described my situation to the guy I'm doing work for and he did some
research for me and came up with the following link.

Most suggestions on this topic recommend to use a page footer and make
it visible only on the last page. My problem is that the footer is half
of the height of a page which means the detail would show on only the
top half of each page with whitepace at the bottom of each page.
How can I get the detail to fill each page with my "half page...

I have a problem with pages being printed out of order. An example is
a 15 page duplexed report. Title page fine back of title page blank.
(As it should be) SEcond page front, bottom says Page 1 of 15. Second
page back says Page 10 of 15. Third page front says Page 3 of 15.
Third page back says Page 4 of 15. Special not Page 10 of 15 is...

I am having problems formatting an Access 2003 report which is trivial
in the extreme (tabular layout, 9 fields from 1 table per row in the
detail section, no groups/totals).
One field (only) in the row can be longer than its text-box on rare
occasions, so I've made the text-box and detail section CanGrow
properties = Yes. This has had one...

Hi All,
I'm using A2K and need to print a specific pre-printed form. I know that
once I have that report on a particular computer screen I can select "Page
Setup" and change the margins to get the different fields I'm printing where
I need them to print (fine tuning type of changes as all the controls are
basically printing where...

Dear reader,
In case a report is a sub report the Report Header of the sub report is
printed in the report but the Page Header of the sub report will not be
printed. This is the same for Page Footer of the sub report.
Is there a possibility to force printing Page Header and Page Footer of a
sub report.

I'm using VBA to dynamically add rows of textboxes to a Report, then
assign values to those textboxes. The values are definitely being
assigned as I can MsgBox them afterward and the values come up, but
they are NOT actually showing on the Report. Here's the code:
Private Sub Command0_Click()
Dim NewTextBox As TextBox
DoCmd.OpenReport...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
