Conflict viewer says there are conflicts, but shows no tables

VHR
Hi,

I apologize for posting this a second time, but no one replied from
the other group where I posted it.

I have a design master and 4 replicas that I have successfully synced
on about 4-5 occasions. However, one of the replicas apparently
corrupted, and I was able to fix it by compacting and repairing.
Every time I open the database now, the conflict resolution viewer
pops up and says there are conflicts, but shows no conflicting tables.
I looked in the MSysConflicts table, and there are 300+ records that
say

"Recovered replicable data. This row was recovered from a corrupted
replicable database. Verify that the record contents are correct and
then reinsert the record, or delete this conflict record."

However, I cannot delete the conflict record (it's read-only, and the
owner is the engine rather than the administrator). The database
seems to be working fine, except that this viewer keeps popping up.
How can I either suppress it from popping up, or delete the conflict
records?
Thanks!!
Virginia

Hi, I have a problem. I made a little access database for time management with german access (officeXP, saved as downward compatible with 2000. When I try to run it on a pc with chinese windowsXP installed it shows ODBC conflicts, although I can open the tables, forms and reports seperately without problems. The error message also occurs when I try to start the makros. Or any command within a form.

Hello All: I have been brought onboard to help on a project that had some performance problems last year. I have taken some steps to address the issues in question, but a huge question mark remains. Last year, all of the tables and reports were stored in Access. The database was put online so that end users could access the reports online using Snapshot Viewer. The reports were aggregated on the fly, and the selection criteria...

I experienced the same problem that I found posted from summer 2005 (apparently too long ago to continue the thread). See below for full description. I found that reinstalling Access 2000 did the trick. This makes sense based on my observations that 1) the problem didn't show up on replicas on other machines and 2) a little dummy replicated database on my machine behaved this same way. BTW, an explitive burst from me when I first...

Situation: I've been using VS .NET 2003 to develop apps w no problems. So, today, my manager had me install VS 2005 (& with it the .NET 2.0 framework) so now my machine has VS .NET 2003 (.NET Framework 1.1) and VS 2005 (.NET Framework 2.0). Issue: A program that I developed in VS .NET 2003 now gets a run time exception when executing the program outside the VS 2003 development environment (when I execute the program through VS 2003 the...

I'm still trying to wrap muy head around preventing thread conflicts. I have a class that has two functions in it. This is called from various part of my application and will generate a XML file. I've gotten lots of advice on this, and am looking for a check on where I'm at. Am I missing some concepts. Prior to this, I was using synclock to lock a filestream, however, this time I'm not writing to a file, so not sure if I need a synclock or...

I have suddenly gotten several replication conflicts where in the winning conflict box, the following is shown: "This row contains data that violates a table or fields level validation rule that was added at the design master, after the time the data was inserted into the replica. You may either change the data to meet the new validation rule, or you may ignore the conflict." I tried once to accept the losing conflict but found it was...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
