Changing default options in distributed databases

Specifically, I want my find options to be "start of field search" in
all of my databases. I suppose I need to change the default option in
runtime Access, but I don't know how to do it. Or do I handle it with
code in each database? At present we are dealing with both Access 97
and Access 2000 runtimes. Access 2000 runtime is also installed on a
thin client server. This has been bugging me for some time, but I'm
finally getting pushed close enough to the edge of my tolerance to ask
a question. Thanks in advance for any help.

Since there are runtimes involved you will need to do this in code I guess?

Application.Set Option "Default Find/Replace Behavior", 2
(Only after you close and reopen the db the property's change is in effect.)

a question. Feel free to ask questions

I upgraded from Access97 to Access2002 last year. I just noticed that the default file format is Access 2000.
