How can I move a control from one page of a tab to another?

Hello
I have an Access 2000 application. The form has got a tab with 3
pages. There are several text boxes and command buttons on one page. I
need to move them to another page (to free form space for another
control). Is it possible to move controls from one page of a tab to
another, or I'll have to re-create them? If it is possible, please
could you advise, how? I have tried to move one text box. It happily
vanished.
Thank you.

Existing controls cannot be moved on or off of TabPages by dragging them,
but you can cut them to the Windows clipboard and then paste them onto a
different page. Any such controls that had Event Procedures assigned will
need to have the "[Event Procedure]" property setting reset as that will be
lost. The code will still be in the module however;

1. select the object
2. go to edit -> cut
3. select the destination page
4. go to edit -> paste

One other thing ----

When you go to paste on the other page, set that page's background to Normal
first. If it is set to transparent, you will paste the object on the main form
rather than the tab control.

I cannot confirm that in my testing (Access 97).

Yes, copy and paste does work! Thank you everyone for your answers! I
was under an impression that I had tried it some time ago (not very
recently) and I couldn't paste. Controls just disappeared. Now, when I
do it, it works OK. Surprise, surprise...
Thank you very much.

I'm using Access 2002. My database is in Access 2000 format. I'm designing a form to collect responses to a 40-item questionnaire. I can fit four list boxes on a screen, so I plan to have 11 tab pages (one page at the end for collecting identifying information) on my form. To ease the task for the user, I'd like to have an automatic movement to the next page. For instance, when the user clicks on the choice for Question 4 (the last of...

In an ASCX, I have a Literal control into which I inject a at runtime. litInjectedContent.Text = dataClass.GetHTMLSnippetFromDB(someID); This works great as long as the contains just client-side HTML, CSS, etc. What I want to do is somehow insert a *server control* into the , then set the server control's properties at runtime.

I have asked this question before. But it does not work for me. Given radion buttons in the web form design page. What I did is described as follows. A panel control is dragged into the design form, and a table control is dragged into the panel from tooolbox. Add cells for the table through the properties. Now I cut a radio button, and click the table (note I can not select a cell), then right click Paste. The button is not in expected...

I have what's probably a simple page lifecycle question related to dynamically evaluating values that are placed by a repeater and dynmically placing user controls that use those values. I'm attempting to bind a user control I've written, "ImageBox", to a repeater. The user control takes a custom property, "ContentID", that will execute a database lookup and load an image.

Hi, I was hoping if anyone knew if it were possible using HTML or other basic scripts that enable you to lets say, scroll the webpage down a few margins upon load of page or script. So that it will automatically scroll down for you in case their is a certain spot of the website that you want them to see first. Or in the case of a profile, etc, you can automatically have it scroll down to a certain section in your profile instead of the user...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
