Access Booking System

Can anyone point me in the direction of a sample Access booking
system? Trying to build a booking system were customers can book a
computer by date and timeslot, each timeslot having a limited amount
of computers.

Cheers for anyhelp, pointers given.

When you open Access you are prompted for the name of the database you
want to open - select "Blank Database" (if in Access 97 and earlier
versions) or "New from template" (if in Access 2K or later versions) -
a dialog box will appear that has 2 tabs, "General" and "Databases, " -
select Databases. Select the template named "Resource Scheduling."
This one should do for what you want.

If you can't see the sample template dbs you will probably have to
install them - use the Access CD/files & install the Samples (you'll
have to look thru the installation selections - I forget where the
Samples checkbox is located).

Paul,
read this post...
"Finding Free Time in Equipment Reservation and/or Compare Two
Tables". It's been discussed here many times before, so read up and
then give it a try. In a word, I think timeslots are a bad idea, but
read the post and make up your own mind.

kia ora I am after a set of php script to administer bookings for buses and huts and coordinate customer enquiries in our small tourism business I have looked extensively but not come up with much except bughotel which seems a little bloated but along the right track An online support "ticket" type system would probably work for customer enquiries but this needs to be integrated in to the booking

I was wondering if anyone could help me with a problem I'm having. I've been using Dreamweaver to create a hotel booking system for a friend of mine, using MySQL (version 4.0.21) and PHP 5. The bit I'm struggling with is checking the Room Availability based on dates that are typed into a textfield and then returning a list of the available rooms on the next page. The three tables involved in this function are: CREATE TABLE `room` (

I am prototyping a ticket booking system and just wanted to ask a few questions. 1 - What is the standard way of temporarily reserving a number of tickets throughout the purchasing process (to stop other people reserving those seats or whatever). 2 - What do you do to release these 'seats' if someone closes their browser? Is it just a cron job set for every 20 mins?

Hello, I am currently doing a project which requires me to develop an online booking system for hotels and integrate both bed and room booking. I have the room booking working but I cant seem to get the bed booking working. I have dorm rooms with 8 beds in them and I would like to have a query(or something) which allows me to make the dorm rooms bed booked instead of room booked. Anyone any ideas on how to make this happen, anything would be...

Hi im currently messing around with creating a diary/booking system for a leisure centre. And im stuggling with how I can display all the data. The booking is taking the activity the customer is doing and the date and time etc. I want to display the data with each different activity having its own column and the rows having times. So that you can view a full day and see what is happening with each activity at all times of the day. Basically I...

Greetings all, My booking system includes 2 tables: tblRooms with the key field RoomID, and some other fields AND a tblBooked Rooms with a number of fields including RoomID and BookedDate. For a given date range, I can generate a vacant room report by generating a temporary table of all the Rooms and BookedDates using a cartesian join, and then either deleting the booked rooms, or by

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
