I would like to have a crosstab of the number of campers by month as
row headings and by year as column headings with an additional column
of the average.
So, in January we had 10 campers for 1999, 20 campers in 2000, 5
campers in 2001, 30 campers in 2002 and 50 campers in 2003.
The row heading would be January (and then February, March, April,
May, etc., with all of its data), the column headings would be 1999,
2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 with another column heading of Avg that will
have a value of 23.
Is this possible? When I use the month as a row heading I can't get it
to sort in chronolgical order - it goes alphabetical.
Any, ALL suggestions much welcomed AND appreciated!!! 1 4914
In order to get the columns to sort correctly, use Month(CampingDa te) as the
column heading, and Year(CampingDat e) as the row heading. This will give
you columns lables 1, 2, 3. If you need to have the month names appear on
the column heading, you can use this query as input to another query, or a
report.
Hope this helps,

Hi,
I am trying to create a stored procedures (SQL 7.0), to provide data

a crosstab format.
(I'm using Crystal Reports 8.5, but the Crosstab capabilities are
terrible, so I have to do as much as possible on the SQL side)

I am trying to develop a query which will determine the average costs
using a rolling average of the past 12 months of data. In other
words, if I entered the Ship Month of January and the Ship Year of
2004, I would want that month plus the preceding 11 months of data to
determine an average cost.
How can that criteria be entered in a query so that each month I can
get the most current 12 months of data to determine the average costs?

First of all I'm new to the forum and am working on my first database. So far I think I've done not too bad but have hit a stumbling block for which I'm not sure how to get around.
What I have is a database which tracks assigned files to a certain people which is generated by a form and then recorded into a table. Tables are as follows “Staff” “Loss_Type” and “Claims_Assignment”.
From this “Claim_Assignment” table I have created separate...

I have a crosstab query that compiles data for Months of the year. I
have a stacked select query on top of that crosstab query that uses
the latest 2 months data and exports it to a fixed length flat file.
Ideally I would like to be able to just select the Last 2 Columns of
the Crosstab query as inputs to the Select query WITHOUT having to go
in month after month and manually change it...
I may be asking a bit much here but is there a...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.

I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
