Hi all,
I have an idea for a better IDE. Though I don't have
the skills required to write such a thing, if anyone's
looking for a killer app, maybe this is it.
If I'm typing at a rate of 10 characters per second
(which is *very* fast for sustained code writing),
then my computer is executing around 200,000,000
instructions as it waits for the next keystroke to

Hi!
I've been thinking about passing parameteras using references instead
of pointers in order to emphasize that the parameter must be an
object.
Exemple:
void func(Objec& object); //object must be an object

I know a little about VBA, but everything I know I've learned on my
own through trial and error (and cut & paste). Now I'm actually
taking a class, but it's online twice a week.
I'm running through the chapters on my own and I'm coming up with some
questions that I'm afraid might be too stupid to post here (don't want
to ruin my image, hahaha)
Does anyone know where I might go to find answers to such simple
questions, via posting or...

Hi all,
I am trying to learn a little about programming (I know next to nothing
so far) and have found some code which hides the toolbars. However, this bit
of code is a little too effective and hides all of them including hiding the
database window, disabling menu changes. What I am after is the same effect
as disabling all the check boxes in startup which still leaves 'File',
'Edit', 'Insert','Records','Window' &'Help'. I want to do this...

Hello,
I have an Access 2000 file working on XP machines and a NT network.
The files are split and 95% of the time all is well and stable. The
main issue arises when the app prints,a novell netware pop up shows
and declares which printer the file is going to and when printing
completes, Access crashes. This is really starting to tick off the
client users.
I see that there may be two possible solutions - first, I have some
way of...

I think you would agree with me that a C compiler that directly
produces Java Byte Code to be run on any JVM is something that is
missing to software programmers so far. With such a tool one could
stay with C and still be able to produce Java byte code for
platform independent apps. Also, old programs (with some tweaking)
could be re-compiled and ported to the JVM.
We have been developing such a tool over the last 2 years and currently...

Using VS2005 Standard Edtion, I have an Immediate window during ASP
debugging. My co-worker, using VS2005 Team Edtion does not have an
Immediate window. He does have a Command window, which is sort of ok
but doesn't have intellisense. Documentation shows that editions above
Express do have immediate windows.
We've looked under Debug, View, and just about everywhere else. I
don't see the Immediate window under View on my system either,...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
