How to delete Grub loader and leave Windows partition?

i have installed 3 OS in my hard drive

1st-----i installed Windows XP professional in C drive
2nd-----i installed another Windows XP Professional in
to D drive
finally----- i installed the ubuntu in the freespace by
making it as ext3 partition
now i want to uninstall ubuntu OS if i format the drive that containing ubuntu OS the grub loader is not removing and while booting it is entering the grub loader and displays booting error by this i cant able to open the bootloader plz help me to overcome this problem......

So what happened is that you took your Master Boot Record and when you installed Linux, it thought it was being nice by giving you Grub to have the option between the two. However, what you seem to want is either to boot Windows automatically or replace Grub with the Windows boot loader.

If you don't want to mess around with partitions, I'd recommend looking into how to edit the Grub menu. Then you can set Grub to boot Windows by default.

If you really want to replace the MBR, the first thing you should always do it back up your data, then if anything goes wrong with the partitioning, you still have the most critical things backed up.

From there, it seems you can take a Windows XP cd and boot into the recovery or setup and get a command line (never tried this with Windows, so you'll have to play around with it to figure out exactly how to do this). From a command line, type

fixmbr
exit
