Good FTP program for synchronising folders

113 New Member
Hi,

I've just setup a development server for testing websites at my office and wish to synchronise it with the sites folder on our live server, does anyone know of any good programs for this?

I've got total file commander which is pretty good for synchronising directories but it apparently when downloading it changes the timestamp to the time at which you downloaded the file, which means that the directories / files would never have the same timestamps and therefore never be the same.

Any suggestions welcome thanks,

Found one that seems to do the job, Ipswitch WS_FTP, preserves time stamps too!

Try Cute FTP Pro. I know they synchronize pretty well and are very stable and secure. I am not sure about time stamps though. Good Luck

Thanks Cyberdine, I'll look into that one if WS_FTP doesn't do the job.
