Altering Date & Time

Gud Morning Friends
My problem is that When saving a file in my WIN_XP pc it save date & Time of saving with every file. Now i want to alter this date & time.
Plz tell me the solution.

There is no way provided by MICROSOFT to do this.
but I can suggest some working ideas
1. If these are text files: Change the system DATE/ TIME and use below command after copying all the text files to a common directory eg C:\MyDir

C:\MyDir> FOR %X IN (*.TXT) DO TYPE %X >C:\%X

THIS WILL CREATE ALL TEXT FILES AGAIN IN C:\ with date & time u seted
do not forget to reset ur system DATE/TIME to current date/time.

Above will work only for TEXT files, if tried on Binary files (*.doc,*.exe) etc will result in currupt files created at C:\ which are of no use.
for binary files pls read my NEXT post....

IT REQUIRES 3rd part programs as Microsoft has not provided any.
