I can't find a reasonable explanation for this.
I have a table game, with primary key gameid (an int).
If I use a where involving gameid and <, or >, or <=,
or >=, then I get a sequential scan. If I use =, then
of course I get an Index scan.
More surprising to me is the fact that using BETWEEN,
I get an Index scan!!

I am actually trying to get the UNC path of the main module of a process
running from a mapped drive, and I am trying to do this from a service. The
ProcessModule class only provides the full path with the mapped drive letter,
but the drive letter refers to the drive mapping for the user that started
the process, and cannot be resolved to a UNC path from a service running
under LocalSystem.
Presumably, therefore, I need to get the drive...

I created a db form which allows for scanned entries from a scan gun, we programmed the gun to "tab" therefore allowing a next line entry of data into the form....
Problem; What do I create (text box, command button etc) to allow the scan gun to move to the next record for entry. I dont want any manual intervention (selecting a command button to move to the next record) and would like the scan gun to move to the next record...

I am trying to accesss a Mapped Drive from my asp.net code running on IIS 6.0.
I am using a FileUpload control and fileUpload.SaveAs() to save the file to
the server. I want to save the file to a mapped drive that is mapped to a
share on the network. When I save to "C:\temp\myFile.txt it works but when I
save to Z:\temp\myFile.txt is will not work. I also want to copy, delete and
move these files.
