Hello,

Download Sysinternal's Autoruns.

Run the program and look for an autorun entry for a program "csrcs.exe" and uncheck it. Also look for other malicious autorun entries and uncheck them if they seem harmful (although I dont recommend this for you if you are not an Windows expert).
This will solve your problem.

Hope this helps.......

I was wondering how the Process.Start() command can be used in a VB.NET Web Application. I have used this command in a Windows Application before successfully. I want the client side to envoke the .exe application by clicking a button and want the .exe to run on the server. I have read in groups that it is not possible and also have heard that it is possible in Web Apps. Here is what I have tried so far in the web app... Dim myProcess...

Is there a simple way for a Java application to display/log the Windows PID that has been assigned to it? I'm running on both Win2K and WinXP. I have several Java apps, which all run in their own VM. They are started in separate DOS command windows via a visual basic script. If I look in Windows Task Manager, I see XX number of "java.exe" processes, but currently find it hard to identify which is which... I expect this startup...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
