I could not get PHP pages to display in IIS 6 with Windows 2003, using the
default install of the stable binaries from php.net.
Here is the solution I found.
The default install registers the .php extension as belonging to
c:\php\php.exe. This is correct, but it's faster to use the ISAPI
extension.

I have an application that is ISAPI and the only way to
secure it is through NT permissions. I need to have a way
to login to windows authentication so that when I get to
the ISAPI application no boxes come up. I want an ASP page
to sit between the user and the ISAPI application. The
rest of my application is using authentication that is
database driven and wouldn't want the users to know the
userid and password. Is this possible? If so...

I have noticed something disturbing when retrieving datasets over a
relatively slow line (multiple T1). I am looking at about 25 seconds to
retrieve 500 rows via a php-odbc link. This same select from the cli is
for all intents practicaly instantaneous. After much research I discovered
that PHP by default uses a dynamic cursor type which can be quite a bit

to any page on the site to an SSL login page (on a different website with
the same root domain) if they do not have the appropriate session cookie
already. After logging in on that page successfully they are given the
cookie and redirected back to the page they initially tried to go to.

I am trying to remove dependence on the frameworks custom error
mechanisms to get a site to work with google sitemaps, because they
framework does a redirect 302 to the errorpage.
Instead I am doing server.transfers from the applicaiton_error event.
This seems to work fine except for in the case of 404 errors. Is there
any way to do a server.transfer from application_error on a 404 error?

I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
