Using TweakUI Power Toy for Windows XP

Download TweakUI from here:

v2.00 for Windows XP | v2.10 for XP SP1 and above

Open TweakUI and click "Logon" option in the left pane. Put a checkmark against the option "Show Administrator on Welcome Screen". Click OK to close TweakUI. Logoff and see if Welcome Screen lists Administrator login. Changes are immediate and you can use the Winkey + L to switch back to Welcome Screen to see Administrator account is listed.

Use this procedure to hide/unhide any user account from the Welcome Screen. Please remember, you can still login to a hidden account using CTRL+ALT+DEL classic logon method, but cannot Fast User Switch to a hidden user account.

You could also use the registry editor but I would not recommend it.

Hi youknowwho welcome to TSDN,

firstly, why would u do that?

ok, bootup your computer in safe mode, at the login screen u'll see another administrator account (this one u can't disable/demote) log into it, then from there re-enable all other accounts and reset them to admin if u want (i would have at least 1 other admin account).

good luck

Hi All, Does any one know how to enable the debugging in VS2003 on Win2003 Ent, for local or remote ASP.net web project. The instructions given in the MSDN does not help. Even tried the ones at http://weblogs.asp.net/mkpark/articles/86872.aspx but could get debugging to work. So something must have gone wrong that require fixing besides following normal enabling steps. I keep getting the "you are not a member of debugger group" message,...

We have a request from Auditing to modify the password an a local workstation administrative account every 90 days. We are developing two programs - a VB6 GUI program that will allow the administrative support person to enter a new password into an App and have that encrypted password saved in a text file. The second part is a VB6 program that only is a command line program that will open the password text file, read the encrypted...

I use XP Home Edition, am the administrator and have recently run into many problems. They seem to center around not being able to properly function as the computer administrator. For example, when trying to format a CD, I get the message "Your user account setting will not allow you to perform this operation. You must be designated as a computer administrator to format this disc. Consult your system administrator (me!) or the Windows...

First, I'm new to Python. I'm getting and error when I run Python 2.5.2 as a regular user in Vista but not when I run Python as an administrator. For example, if I type "import numpy" after I launch python from an adminstrator-privileged command window it loads fine. However, from a regular-user command window I get: Traceback (most recent call last): File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
