File Open

Dear all,

I want to open file by double click to the respective application which is not installed in C:\program files which is installed in D drive.

Example:

I want to open tex file in WinEDT application but the application is not installed in C:\program files folder instead installed in d drive so my 'open with' is not identifying the WinEDT application. How to proceed.

Regards,
RSP

Hiya, RSP. You should be allowed to associate any ol' .exe to the extension of your choice by going to Folder Options|File Types. Select the extension, click Change, then Browse. Find your .exe (installed in the %Programs directory is not a requirement). [Now I have to go and set mine back before I forget]
