Hi everyone,
I have a drawn picturebox image in Visual Basic 6.0 which I would like to save to disk.
I can do that through the SavePicture(PictureBox.Image, "filepath") function.
Yet this produces unaccaptable large pictures of 600 dpi, 32 bit color whereas 100 dpi 16 bit color would be more than enough.
I've been searching a lot how to change the resolution of the bitmap, alas I cannot find a way. There are examples on the net about resizing a picture (through PaintPicture()) but this doesn't work with a "hand"-drawn picturebox image since PaintPicture() only accepts the .Picture property (which is empty, as opposed to the available .Image property).
Does anyone know if there's a method to change the resolution of the written files, or maby a way to convert the .Image to a .Picture?
Any help is much appreciated.
Kind regards,
