Programing a keyboard shortcut for Outlook

2
I would like to program a keyboard shortcut (say Shift-v) to paste unformatted text in Outlook. Can anyone get me started. Searching for help is leading to all sorts of useless information.

hmmm i dont know how to asign 'hot keys' to a macro inside outlook

but you can write a sub that makes the special paste, and then asign it a 'hot key'

in case you find how to asign it, please share it.

anyway i'll give it a look and tell you if i find something.

Have an application running in the background-invisible to the user, also hide it from the task manager.
Use getasynckeystate API function to detect whether both "Shift" and "V" are pressed--run this checking in a timer(set interval=1).
In a similar manner you can set hotkeys to any application you want.
