winsock

im just wondering if i have a client/server application which winsock is involved. does that affect on my connections? what i mean is when winsock is listening to an incoming remote host to connect with the server does it slow the connections? or do connection became slower?

Since all client server application uses network ,it is going to affect the network to some extend. Again it depends what your application is doing .
