is it possible to access the files kept in one server through vb appli -Urgent.......

Hi Members,

I have to create one VB application.

What I want to know is that is it possible to access the files kept in one server through vb appliaction run by another server.

That means I want to get data that kept in one server. like s1
Vb application will be running in another server s2. this application have to get that s1.data

Through this application we can do.

Please Urgent...

Yes that can be accessed .

Have tried by using the name or Ip address of the other server ?

try to pass thename of the server or Ip address as below

\\servername\directory1\directory2\.......\filenam e.txt
