create folder

i m very new in VB,by VB
i want to create a folder in some particular path which name will be show the current date and each time this will check that the todays date folder is created or not if not so create new one so plz help me.

I'd say that the FileSystemObject is probably the way to go. Specifically, the FileSystemObject.CreateFolder method. Look it up in the documentation. It also has a .FolderExists function which should help you with this task.

Note, to use the FileSystemObject object you have to add "Microsoft Scripting Runtime" in your project references.

Also note, everything I've said here applies to VB6. If you're using a later version, it may work differently, though I think the fso is still used.
