Merging in excel vbokay

I need to know how to always say yes to the prompt since it always prompts me for yes to merge

  1. Application.DisplayAlerts = False
  2. Cells.Range(range_str1).Merge
  3. Application.DisplayAlerts = True
I haven't tried it, but it might work. According to the help, this will cause Excel to choose the default response when it would normally prompt the user.
