Slow using compute command

3 New Member
We have developed an accounting program. One of the reports is getting a list of outstanding records for a certain date and time. There is no problem with the exact report.

The problem comes from the speed from one computer to another. On one computer the report is done anywhere from 45 to 55 seconds. On another computer it takes 5 minutes everytime.

The computer that does it fast is a notebook,
1.6 Pentium M, 512 RAM, 80 GB Drive, 100 NIC.

The slow comptuer is a desktop
2.8 Pentium 4, 1 GB RAM, 80 GB Drive and 100 NIC.

I had a third station try it and prior to formatting and reinstalling windows it was as fast the the notebook. The was as well a desktop exact same specs as the desktop above. Now this computer as well now is slow doing this particular report.

We are using VB .net 2003 with Crystal Reports 11 and SQL Express 2005

Any suggestions woudl be great appciated.

Thanks
