I am trying to write code in VB 5.0 to send bite size numbers as commands to a serial device. Baud etc are set a per manufacturers instructions and I am using the cable they supplied. In an effort to locate any error I put a break point in the OnComm Sub but this is never trigered when I run MSComm1.output = "123" etc so I do not know if it is being sent and not received??.
