User logins with usernames and passwords

5 New Member
How do i create a user login for a excel spreadsheet through a userform. I've seem to be able to get a password working but that only lets one passwrod in and its only the password. Ideally what i'd like is a user name and a password with multiple user so that the workbook can be accessed by various user through their own password and username. This is so then i can make a seperate login for the other members of staff who do different jobs in the busines to be able to login and say they can add new stock to the stocklist as they specialise in that area. At the present time i have got one password that is being used by all members of staff but i would like a seperate login for each staff with their own username. After that i would like to be able to put in new user as when they are required and be able to take them out, so if anyone could help then i would be open to suggestions.

Please help me! I've tried many suggestions but none of them seem to have worked so far. the code that i am using at the moment gives the workers a login password which they have to put in correctly, but if the password is entered in wrong three times then the system shuts down automatically. I would like this to be also included in the new one that someone helps me with.

What you are suggesting seems to be the use of Excel for database purposes. This is not the best use of Excel. You would be better off using something like Access which, coincidentally, supports different user logins and passwords.

BTW. you will irritate users of this forum by duplicating questions

firstly it was my first time usin this site so i didnt no wat i was doin, and i have now taken into consideration ur point. secondly the company insists that i make the system for their company in excel as they prefer to use excel. all i need is a simple code that will help me to develope the staff login userform that i have created for them. could you not help me with this. i do understand VB coding so if u could post and example then i can easily edit it and make it personal to my clients system. thanks for the suggestion so far but not what i wanted to hear.
