VB4

I have been offered Visual Basic 4 professional plus three programming
books for next to nothing. As this is an older version of VB, I was
wondering if it is worth my while to learn this version? What possible
problems may I encounter by using this version that other versions may
have now delt with, and would I still be able to produce a good modern
looking program/game etc?

Thanks for any help you guys may be able to give.

I started Winders with VB4 and it made me sick

VB4 is a really stale version of VB .. it's better than nothing, but not
much. If you can try to get VB5 at least, or VB6 is possible. If you get the
older versions be sure to identify your version in any questions you ask, as
some code will be a bit different for VB4.
