> I am currently using VB 4.0 but would like to upgrade to VB.net.
When I try to install VB.net I repeatedly get a message that I must
reboot.
Can I install VB.net without removing VB 4.0 ? If so, how do I do it.
This newsgroup services VB6 and below. While there are some volunteers
here who work in both worlds (VB-Classic and VB.NET), the numbers are
small with the overwhelming majority working exclusively in the
VB-Classic languages. You might have a better chance of finding someone
who move up from VB4 in a newsgroup devoted exclusively to VB.NET. (When
you get VB.NET installed, those newsgroups are also the ones where you
should ask your VB.NET questions at if and when you have them.) Look for
newsgroups with either the word "dotnet" or "vsnet" in their name; here
are some newsgroups to get you started...
