Hello
what about this nice way to open a file in single line rather than using
if and else.
#include<stdio.h>
void main()
{
FILE *nd;
clrscr();
fopen("c:\\autoexec.bat","r")&&printf("success") || printf("error opeing

How do you set the this.Icon property of a windows form to the App.ico file
specified in the Project Properties? I don't want to type in the path and
filename; I want to set the form's icon programmatically in the Form Load
section.

Thank you kindly,

icon for a grid cell. I've tried using the following but it does not work. Any
help
appreciated:
Dim im As System.Drawing.Image
im = CType(getobject("CHECKMRK.ICO"),System.Drawing.Image) <-- Fails here.
g_mainform.fg.SetCellImage(g_mainform.FG.Row, 5, im)

Hello,
I have created icons before with icon editor that comes with VS2003 without
any issues. Today I created another icon for my VB.Net app. But this .ico
file is not displaying the figure that I drew on it in the editor (32x32).
When I add the icon to the project, the icon does not display the figure on
the form, but it does display in the Alt-Tab box, and it displays in the
Project Properties page. Also, the icon does not display...

Hello,
I noticed a round looking icon with a downward chevron symbol immediately to
the left of the control box on the form title bar. When I click it the form
seems to unload - whether in debug mode or standalone. Does this icon do
anything more than the close form icon? Is there a way to eliminate it
without eliminating the control box? Do I want to eliminate it?
Thanks,
Rich

Private Sub SaveBitmap(ByVal fileName As String, ByVal p As

p.Save(fileName, Imaging.ImageFormat.Icon)
Does not produce an icon formatted file.
At least if I try to open it with icon reading programs it does not open.

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...
