hello all,
iam making a library system, which requires to save a image of titles in
the database. i did came to know how to open an image but i'll b happy if i
can be well assisted on how to save the image to a db.
and one thing more, is there any way to add images to the menu in vb.net !!

I developed an application and I am using SQL Server 2000 developer edition.
I create my database and I have also created tbl_USER table.
I have an ID, RealName, UserName, and UserPassword fields.
I want to save UserName and UserPassword using bit or binary data type with
VB.NET. Then ofcourse I have to retrive them to compare it later and if I
find match than user can enter the MAIN forum.

I have a shared XML file on a server .
i also have one xslt file that performs a simple transform on in to
view the data.
now i want to have another page that lets users modify the shared xml
file via some editable controls such as text boxes , option boxes etc.
how can i implment this , should i use another xslt file with <INPUT>
controls . if so how can i save the result back using the asp.net

Hi, Guys, am trying this program where I used openDialog to allow the user to select an image. This image is load into a pictureBox called MemberPics. After that, I want to save the selected image with its file name and retrieve(load into another pictureBox called display) it in another form. I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
