Using VB to emulate Motif app

1 New Member
Can I use VB to emualte a Motif application front end?
Is there a Motif skin?
I have done some preliminary research but no simple answers.
Anybody tried this before?
Should I just develop on unix/linux platform?
Is there an IDE on linux that would allow me to rapid prototype?

Greetings, willpfeiff!

I am not sure what you are asking... What do you need to your software to do exactly.

Have you also searched the forum, you might find stuff already posted on this or somilarly to it.

Let us know, if that helped!

Hello! I would like to write a pointer to type template that behaves exactly and completely like normal pointers, which I will use as starting point for other kinds of pointers that hold extra data (for example, one of my aims is to have 64bit pointers on a 32bit machine, and ignore the highmost 32bits of the address, while still keeping it in structures and function parameters, so I can start to migrate my 32bit OS to 64bit, although I...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...
