I would like to pass a Control array of OptionButtons that I created at run
time to a Sub.
Say I have Opt(0), Opt(1)......Opt(5) as OptionButtons, is there a way to
pass Opt to a function and have the function see it as an Array of
Optionbuttons?
private sub Test(a as Object) is the best I can come up with so far. I
would like to test it to verify that it is both an array and an
OptionButton. Although I can check it with...

In VB6 (using visual studio) it was possible to create a control array at
design time by simply adding the control (e.g. textbox) and renaming it to
what would become the first element
e.g.
Name => MyTextbox
to
Name => MyTextbox(1)
you could then copy this control array element and paste back onto form to

Quite new to C# but I am getting quite confused with Array's and ArrayLists.
This is probably the same old iteration of a basic question but I can't seem
to find a clear answer/example of this case.
Basically I want a container that points to a set objects that I can then
interate through to group together a set of methods in a transaction. The
number of objects is unknown at compile time. I can't seem to come up with
a dynamic array...

Hi,
been a while since I posted a question myself instead of trying to help
others out.
I'm refactoring an existing web app that uses dynamic loading of user
controls and a lot of response.redirects to the same page. Because I hate
the overhead by doing this I'm searching for a cleaner option.
But I'm having troubles (off course or I wouldn't be posting this).

My user control has a combobox with an arraylist attached to it along with custom add and remove methods.
The "Add" method is working great. However I don't understand why the "Remove" method isn't working. It neither removes the item from the arraylist nor from the combobox like it's supposed to do.
A couple of notes: cbx is the name of the combobox within my usercontrol, file is the name of the arraylist within my usercontrol. To try...

Hello everyone,
I'm currently writing a program to keep track of schedule changes at a
school. The goal is to have someone using the program to declare changes,
then the program writes a html file, which is uploaded to a webserver. Then
students and teachers can view it online, but there are also a couple of
computers with 19" monitors standing around the school to display the
webpage (IE kiosk mode).
The program has a form containing...

Hi,
I need several cookies depending of an variable (x), so i defined a
HttpCookie() as an array.
My problems:
1)I get the error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
2)My second question is: how to request those cookies, because there is no
name?
Thanks

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
