Yes (based on my experience). As long it has ms access file (your database) and the driver for it.

Hi, I am new to SQL Server. I am attempting to execute an insert query, but I keep getting an entire range of errors depending on which way I choose to do it. Can anybody tell me what is wrong with my code below? "txtkeyword" is a text box on my form. Thanks in advance,

Hello, I am spoiled coming from programming in word and excel which offer the "record macro" tool that eliminated most basic syntax confusions that I had. unfortunately msaccess doesn't offer that option, and my luck in the groups has yielded little results for manipulating tables via vb code in a form. Could anyone illustrate a few examples for me? 1.) How would I Modify a specific cell in a table called "Mytable?"

Can anyone please help? I have read the postings on the error "The Visual Basic for Applications Project in the database is corrupt" but none report the particular problem I am experiencing, i.e., this error only occurs running my program on computers of some of my clients. To elaborate: I have a program that is being used by around 60 clients all over the world. My program is an mde file in Access2003. It works absolutely without hitch...

Hello, I am working in a new form and still making changes to the visual basic code of the form. Not always, but very often when I try to save my changes in the visual basic window and press the icon, this window closes(without saving) and the whole database, too. I already tried to switch everything in a new form and error occurs again after starting to work in the visual basic code of this specific form not in others and I did...

All, I was working at a client's site when I installed Visual Basic 6 on a machine at their request. Existing applications on this machine had specified version 4.0 of the Jet OLEDB provider in a data source string in their config files. After installing VB 6, they stopped working, producing the error "3220: The supplied provider is different from the one already in use. Changing their configuration files to specify version 3.5.1...

An friend insider told me that VB is to be killled off within 18 months. I guess this makes sence now that C# is here. I believe it and am actualy surprised they ever even included it in VS 2003 in the first place. Anyone else heard about this development? The Master

I have a query in MSAccess and it is a select query. As i understand, any query run from Visual Basic would be returned in a recordset. Can i display the results to the user in a datasheet view? Also, There is one query in access that requires two user inputs : start date and an end date. So, it is "Select * From ABC where Start_date>=#input1# and start_date<=#input2" I believe i can create a sql string and append the dates and then run...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it. First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends, With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
