Hello All,
I'm having problems creating a page with dynamic checkboxes in a WebApp.
In my app, I need to query a database, then (based on results) add
checkboxes to my form and set their "Checked" state. Since the controls are
dynamically created, I'm using the OnInit event to create the checkboxes
and set the "Checked" state from the DB.
Next, I want to capture the postback event (AutoPostBack=true) and update
my database based on...

Have a paging datagrid with a checkbox control in column(0).
ViewState is enabled.
I check the checkbox in first row of the grid on a page and then
the program hits this event:
Private Sub dgRegGrid_PageIndexChanged(ByVal source As Object, ByVal e
As System.Web.UI.WebControls.DataGridPageChangedEventArgs) Handles
dgRegGrid.PageIndexChanged
I then do a loop to check the checkbox state.

Hello,
I'm hoping someone can help me out.
I was wondering if the Enabled property of a CheckBox or RadioButton
server control is stored in the ViewState. If not, is there some way
to to add this property to ViewState? If needed, I can give you more
info on exactly what I'm trying to do.
Thanks,

Hi all,
I'm new to ASP.NET and am working through a few exercises in a book to get
up to speed. First, some background:
I'm running SQL Server 2000 and have one field as a bit data type (0=false
or 1=true). On a form I have a check box that a user can check for whatever
reason. This field saves properly to the DB.
However, my problem is in editing the field. When I click a link to update

Hello, I have a datagrid that brings some information from a query. I need
to have a checkbox in each row so the user can select the rows he wants to
reprint. Is it possible to have a checkbox control in a datagrid? Now I
have a Select column but the problem is that the user needs to select more
than one record and send them all to print, instead of being one by one like
is now with the Select column.
Another question, is it possible to...

I have a simple aspx page(WebForm1.aspx) with a HyperLink, LinkButton,
and two CheckBoxes. When I select a CheckBox and then click the
LinkButton, the CheckBox retains state. When I select the CheckBox and
click the HyperLink (NavigateURL set to WebForm1.aspx), the CheckBox
lost it's state.
I would assume that this is by design (now that I read ASP.NET in a
nutshell) where it describes a HyperLink control action as 'navigates
from one...

I recently posted this on the incorrect forum, and so I would like to
ask the question here. I did get some good ideas on the other group,
but I have not yet come up with a solution for me. I am using VS2005
(express edition) and coding in vb.net.
I wrote an application that uses 30 checkboxes to set the configuration
of a device. The device is constantly polled, and its response is
decoded and reported in a mirror battery of another...

All the rows in a DataGrid, including the Header, are accompanied with
a CheckBox. I want that when the CheckBox in the Header is checked,
then all the CheckBoxes should automatically get checked. I set the
AutoPostBack property of the CheckBox in the Header to True & am
invoking a sub named 'CheckAllRows' on the CheckedChanged event of this
CheckBox. The CheckBox in the Header exists within the HeaderTemplate
of a TemplateColumn in the...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Dear forum friends,
With the development of smart home technology, a variety of wireless communication protocols have appeared on the market, such as Zigbee, Z-Wave, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, etc. Each protocol has its own unique characteristics and advantages, but as a user who is planning to build a smart home system, I am a bit confused by the choice of these technologies. I'm particularly interested in Zigbee because I've heard it does some...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
