Recordset. Help!!

46 New Member
Hi all,

I am now using vb6 to store and get the data according to the process, machine line and machine. Let say, Line A02, process texture, machines are m1, m2 and m3. The user might store the data many times for each machine(down time, in hour). So now, I want to seperate each machine data with each machine total hour. What should I do? I am using datagrid and adodc to get the data from the MySQLserver.

Can I use many adodc for 1 datagrid?
Can I use 1recordset to sort data in many times?
I mean: filter out the m1 data, then add the total hour and place in a text box,
then, filter out the m2 data, add the hour and place in another text box,
and same as m3.

But I had tried, the recordset got debug.

Can anyone teach me about recordset? How to use it?

Please give me your hand. I need you.

Thank you.

Unfortunately, the database has been set up (by my predecessor, I hasten to add) so that each day it creates a copy of the record for each company, changes the date to today's date, and prompts the user...

Based on a prior posting, I've written a function to convert a recordset to a dataview. Here is the code for my function: Public Shared...

All, I have a ADODB.Recordset in my Access 2002 project. I've been able to successfully add fields to the record set. According the the MS Access help files, I now must update the recordset to get the field additions to "stick." Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
