How to use Right-Click of mouse & Function keys in my program?

1 New Member
I want to use Right-Click menu of mouse in any form or anywhere in my program? How can I able to do this? I want that when user right-click on any button or form a special pop-up menu will appear with some extra options, whenever user click any option, it will work.

I also want to use the Function Keys in my program. Such as, whenever any user press F1, a new form will appear that describe about the software and help topics. For Function keys, there will be also some program. How can I wll do this?

Pls, help me in this regard. I need it very urgent.

Thanking u.

see dear this can be achived by no of ways like if u like to popup help on f1 then u've to create chm or hlp file and use its helpcontext id to pop up perticular help topic
or use keydown event of form
or u may use mousedown event and button parameter to do so
try it

What version of VB are you using?

I'll assume for the moment that it's VB6. You can capture the function keys by setting the .KeyPreview p[roperty on your form(s) to True, then dealing with the key in the KeyDown or KeyPress event (I forget which).

As for the menu, look into the form's PopupMenu method.

I've googled around, and asked everyone I know, but I still can't find any reference to anyone else having faced this particular IE bug with floats. I've put a page at http://dochawk.org/sample.html . This was made by stripping out the google ads from the regular pages. It validates as strict 4.01 at http://validator.w3.org. (The google ads drive it nuts!) The main (right) column is made with alternating left and right floats to...

Hello folks, I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>". The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed. This is as boiled down as I can make it. Here is my compilation command: g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp Here is the code in...

Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own.... Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello I'm a network technician in training and I need your help. I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs. The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols. I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
