i,
I have trying to code a small console app that will
allow a user to select a window and then create a
screen capture of the window. I haven't been able to
figure out how to do the screen capture part. The
code is as follows, the commented out lines at the end
are things I have tried, but don't work. Whenever I
try to create a compatibe Bitmap or DC it comes back
with an error as
win32ui: CreateCompatibleDC failed

Howdy,
I'm trying to break an input string into multpile pieces using a
series of delimiters that start with an asterisk. Following the
asterisk is a mulitple character identifier immediately followed by a
data string of variable length. The input string may contain more than
one identifier anywhere in the string.
Here is an example:
*CZ1 2.3 4-56 *fuuuS24364 08 23 72

I want to capture the input from a writing pad and apply in vb2005 but
I don't know any programming codes about it.
The writing pad is connected by a USB port.
Before I run the writing pad program, it can be a mouse and move
around
double click = normal one click
click twice = normal double click

I am attempting to set up Q Capture on RH Linux (x86_64) using DB2 9 fp2, but
there seems to be a general problem loading a specify MQ shared library
"/opt/mqm/lib/libmqm_r.so". I have MQ v6 installed in the default directory
and working.
I can generate the similar errors in two ways (1) through the Replication
Center attempting to validate the Q objects and (2) after manually creating
the Q objects and running the asnqcap program.

I am trying to capture the out put of a command line program. Let say ping
or maybe better yet nslookup. I would like to launch and then capture all
the output , redirect it I guess to a string variable or something. I know
how to start it , but not how to capture it. Nslookup I realize can be
started interactively, which is to some degree what I may need to do as I am
discovering that there is no easy way to query DNS svr records with...

Hi,
I tried the packet capture module program.
I did a file transfer using ftp from this host to another server.
But when I ran the program, it was just hanging off and it did not print the src ip, dst ip, src port, dst port.
Should I run this program as a Daemon? If so, how do I do that?
I would appreciate your response.

Hello
I'm writing a video recorder that records input from an external device
I use multipule files capture, and every X minutes i stop the graph, set the output file name to another file and run the graph again.
All in all, seems to be working well, i get multipule video files for my capture.
HOWEVER - for each file, there seem to be extra frames !

Thanks for the reply.
So the first part is looking easy enough. As for the next part:
Well I have a winform which has a few text boxes and 1 image.
The text boxes, well i suppose they are pretty standard. The font and
size will always be the same if that would be an issue.
The boxes will always be at the same position on the window, and the
window always the same size.

Hi,
I'm trying to find some records in a table that has been exported into Access (tbl_test). The new table that I am trying to create and insert the data to is called (tbl_test1).
Here's my code - I'm trying to find where the word 'Interval Type' starts to capture the data from there and on down a few rows. The 'Interval Type' row will be the name of the first field in the new table, and then the second row is blank so I tried looking...

Most computers default to English, but sometimes we require a different language, especially when relocating. Forgot to request a specific language before your computer shipped? No problem! You can effortlessly switch the default language on Windows 10 without reinstalling. I'll walk you through it.
First, let's disable language synchronization. With a Microsoft account, language settings sync across devices. To prevent any complications,...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it.
Here is my compilation command:
g++-12 -std=c++20 -Wnarrowing bit_field.cpp
Here is the code in...

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention. Imagine an AI that can take a project description, break it down, write the code, debug it, and then launch it, all on its own....
Now, this would greatly impact the work of software developers. The idea...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
