Hi,
You can do this way.
Create a TextBox and a Label.
Label (Set visible to false) and set tabindex for label 1 and then textbox should be 2 (the immediate next tabindex number of Label)
Name the Label Caption ... for example (N), add "&" for the caption... press Alt+N, automatically the focus will jump to the text box.
Hope this satisfies your question.
All the best
Padhu
Create a TextBox and a Label. ...
Good idea.
If I can just explain a bit, in case you didn't get it, padhuwork means to set the caption of the label to &N. The "&" tells VB to show the subsequent letter underlined (assuming it's visible), and use it as the shortcut key to jump to that control. Since a label can't get the focus, it will jump to the next control in the tab order. If you have set the TabIndex values correctly, this should be your textbox.
One thing padhuwork missed - the label must be visible for this to work. If you don't want the user to see it, try hiding it behind the textbox. I've just tried that, and it appears to work.
Thanks For Helping Me...
Thank You Very Much

If I create a MainMenu control on a form, and include short cut keys:
(i.e. &File , E&xit )
and run the app, the shortcut functionality Alt-F-X opens the menus and
works, but in the default state of the running form, the underscores (in my
example under the letter "F" in "File" and "x" in "Exit") are NOT visible by
default.
After hitting Alt-F, you THEN see the appropriate underscores....but it

Overview:
Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For most users, this new feature is actually very convenient. If you want to control the update process,...

Hello
I'm a network technician in training and I need your help.
I am currently learning how to create and manage the different types of VPNs and I have a question about LAN-to-LAN VPNs.
The last exercise I practiced was to create a LAN-to-LAN VPN between two Pfsense firewalls, by using IPSEC protocols.
I succeeded, with both firewalls in the same network. But I'm wondering if it's possible to do the same thing, with 2 Pfsense firewalls...
