retaining zoom settings on exit of app

1 New Member
I have an app that several users use on the same machine. Each one adjusts the zoom to meet their needs and I want to save the last setting of each user so when they return and log on it will dynamically display using the previous zoom setting of that user. Can someone please help me get started. I have no idea where to even start.

What exactly are your "zooming"? If you're simply changing the height and width of something then you can save those values on closing.
  1. Click your Control (picture box or whatever)
  2. In the properties window, click the arrow next to Application Settings
  3. Click (PropertyBinding)
  4. Click the "..." button next to PropertyBinding
  5. Scroll down and click Size
  6. Click the arrow next to Size
  7. A small window pops up.. click (New...)
  8. Enter a name (Something like SavedSize)
  9. Click OK
  10. Click OK again
  11. Create a FormClosing event
  12. Add the below code to the FormClosing event to save the settings.

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. My.Settings.Save()
