I would like to develop a small application that connects to news server .

Does anyone know any good tutoral ?

Do you have to connect to the news server or could you connect to it's
RSS or similar feed?

If its to the RSS as Seth has mentioned...go take a look here
http://msdn.microsoft.com/vstudio/ex.../learningpath/
and look at the windows track - 2nd last lesson.

It has one created for you - giving you all the basic code and
explaining some of it in the video.
