Hi,
I created a ASP.NET crystal reports web site in VS 2005. I wanted to display
the data in a DataSet in the Crystal Reports viewer control. I am getting the
DataSet from another dll. The documentation says that I need to add a new
item - Crystal report, with a blank report in the project which will
automatically create a class say...

Hi,
I am a Crystal Reports user shifted to visual studio for creating
crystal reports. In Crystal reports we can check the view options in
the layout tab in order to see guidelines in the design.
Can anybody help me to do that in Visual Studio 2005?
Thank you.

I am getting mixed messages from the asp.net website hosting providers - some
say they do not support Crystal Reports due to a $25,000 per cpu licensing
fee, others say all I need to do is install Crystal Reports XI (about $500)
on a dedicated server and it will run fine.
Will Reports developed with the embeded Crystal Reports in VS 2005 run...

I am developing a windows application in VB.NET 2005 that includes a
number
of crystal reports.
To use the reports I use the included crystal report viewer and pass a
dataset to the report at runtime in order to report from. The issue I
am
having is with the amount of memory that the crystal viewer uses and
doesn't
recover.

trace, these users are not able to view any of the reports. The same is
also true if I attempt to view the reports while running the program...

Hi
I have done some work with VS 2005 but no report-issues yet.
Now I want to step up, and implement reports for printing and PDF export.
I have just briefly studied the build-in report generator in VS 2005, and
this seems more than sufficient at the moment. But still I would like to
have some advice; should I move to Crystal Reports for...

Hello folks,
I am unable to find appropriate documentation on the type promotion of bit-fields when using the generalised comparison operator "<=>".
The problem is that using the GNU compilers, it seems that the internal comparison operator "<=>" tries to promote arguments from unsigned to signed.
This is as boiled down as I can make it. ...

Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...

Let's talk about the concept of autonomous AI software engineers and no-code agents. These AIs are designed to manage the entire lifecycle of a software development project—planning, coding, testing, and deployment—without human intervention.
