Hi there...
I'm a relative VB.net noob, and I've successfully set up a datagrid,
and, using DataGridTableStyles, created a column that is a
DataGridTextBoxColumn that holds a date (mm/dd/yy). It gets the
original date data from an SQL query, and all is well; the column
displays the dates for the various rows.
I implemented a monthcalendar control that pops up when a mousedown
event is detected in the date column. What I want it to do is pop up
the calendar, select a date, and then update the control in the column
with the date selected.
I'm using the column's .leave event to update the individual textbox's
..text value, but I can't get the event handler to update the control
with the contents of the calendar. The .leave event sends the control
"byval," and the .text value reverts to the original value after the
subroutine is done (because I'm updating the copy of the control; not
the original control).
How can I either pass the control "byref" or find the actual textbox
control in the datagrid list so I can update it within the event
handler?
I can provide code, if necessary. And any help would be provided.
Thanks,
Aaron
