I installed SQLServer2005 but I still get the message that MSDTC

find a SQL Server group I guess.
Ah, I think I see the reason. Even though I thought that I had
successfully installed SQLServer 2005, Microsoft thought otherwise.
Apparently I have 2000 Enterprise installed, and was trying to install
2005 Standard. So, hidden in a Details button, was the information
that the Database portion of the upgrade was blocked by versioning
issues.
Very well, but shouldn't the fact that the Database component isn't
being upgraded create something like WARNING WARNING Will Robinson
instead of hiding in a details report? Yes, the upgrade went fine but
the database died.
So instead of upgrading I'm now just installing another version. I am
guessing that the problem will be solved.
