Optimal Planning Solutions has established itself as the world leader
in professional sports league scheduling. Our current clients include
the National Football League, Major League Baseball, Major League
Soccer, and the Canadian Football League.

We're looking for an individual who can help us deliver outstanding
playing schedules by understanding our clients needs and continually
improve our scheduling software. We need a talented and flexible person
who can learn all aspects of our business and grow with us.
The two primary responsibilitie s of this position are:

1) IMPROVE OUR SCHEDULING TECHNOLOGY
- Customize our software for new clients
- Modify user interfaces
- Create ad-hoc reports
- Improve solve time, develop new scheduling heuristics and algorithms

2) CREATE PLAYING SCHEDULES
- Work directly with clients
- Analyze scheduling objectives and constraints for each client
- Create playing schedules that exceed our clients expectations.

Here is what we're looking for:

- 5 years of programming experience (Visual Basic/VB.NET) and database
development(SQL/MS Access)
- Background in linear programming or constraint programming
(XPRESS/CPLEX/Solver)
- Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines
- Willingness to travel, learn new skills, and work with clients
