Question about Access Databases

Is Access required to be installed to work with MDB files from a .NET App?

Hello Terry ,

No this is not a requirment , you need to have MDAC and Jet installed on the
target system since version 2.6 of MDAC these are two seperate installs
every modern system has MDAC installed however Jet should be provided in
your setup
