DDE Print

P: n/a
In the past, I would use the ShellExecuteEx method to open the command
prompt to print out a specific file using the default print that existed for
the object.

As I understood it, the OS would determine that it was a 'word' document
(from the extension) and then print the document using Word's print
facility. The same would occur if it were a JPG, it would open whatever
application was assigned to the image/jpeg type and print it.

How is this done in .NET? Do i just use the 'shell' function or is there a
more ... elegant solution that exists.
